Intrinsic Institute, a market leader in measuring and building mindset skills, announced that Clete McQuinn has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer effective January 1, 2020. McQuinn is a seasoned business executive with 30+ years of experience, including a number of years working with technology companies.
In 2018, Intrinsic Institute launched a platform that includes a scientifically-validated mindset assessment to measure numerous mindset skills which are predictive of performance. The company now plans to expand the current platform to automate its training curriculum and customize a SaaS learning experience platform to digitally deliver personalized training content to users of the platform to build their mindset skills, optimize performance, and enhance mental wellness. McQuinn will work with the company’s founder and CEO, Dr. Brian Davidson, in the development of the expanded platform. He will lead fundraising efforts for Intrinsic Institute and oversee day-to-day operations.
“What I found most compelling about Intrinsic Institute was its opportunity to positively impact millions of lives,” said McQuinn. “There are many companies that provide quality mindset training, mental coaching, etc. (albeit predominantly a “one-size-fits-all” approach), but most are missing the essential component – a scientifically-validated assessment that measures multiple mindset skills thus allowing targeted intervention and training specifically personalized to meet the needs of each individual. Intrinsic’s platform will measure how a person is currently thinking and feeling, and then automatically “deliver up” content right to their mobile device focused on their mindset skills that need to be improved.”

The company expects to launch its new platform in the 3rd quarter of this year.
